3 Best Things about a Kalea Home Lift!
Hello and welcome to Kalea Lifts!
Choosing the best lift for your client is often a tough question. Architects have the tough job of balancing out budget requirements with trust and reliability and ensuring the lift fits perfectly inside of the design they have built.
To help in this tough decision, we’ve put together a list of the 3 best things about a Kalea Home Lift!
1. Easy to Fit into Your Design
A Kalea Home Lift is super easy to fit into your design without having to do structural alterations of any sort. This is because:
It comes with its own shaft– no need to plan a big reinforced concrete shaft and worry about things like waterproofing and strength – our lifts have their own shaft.
No Pit – with a Kalea lift, you don’t need to plan for a pit, as we only require 50 mm pit (or 0 mm with a ramp!). The best part? This means no need to plan for waterproofing or drainage of a deep pit like with traction lifts!
No Machine Room – with a Kalea lift, you don’t need to plan a machine room. This makes planning the rooftop a lot easier (and you can even open the lift on the rooftop if you want!)
2. Super Space Saving
A Kalea Home Lift has the great distinction of being super space saving. This is thanks to our unique screw drive technology, which allows us to have a footprint as small as 1 square meter!
But it’s not just the outside that counts, we give you more bang for your buck on the inside as well! While a traditional screw-driven lift will usually give you 30-40% standing space, our lifts can go as high as 73% standing space!
Less space used up on the outside, more space available on the inside!
3. All Glass Designs
The biggest problem most architects complain about while planning a home lift is LIGHT and OPENNESS. When planning a traction lift, architects often complain about having to be careful of blocking light or closing up a space and making it feel small and cramped.
The best part of a Kalea Lift is that it can offer glass on all 5 sides. This means natural light is unimpeded by the lift, and rooms keep the illusion of space. For example, a lift in the corner can use two sides of glass, and it almost feels as if the lift is not there.
Of course, there are many other advantages to Kalea Lifts, such as its locking systems, the quality of its glass (tempered AND laminated) or its adherence to the strict European safety regulations – but we invite you to contact us at 021146900 to learn more from one of our lift Experts!
